@ifrah_1, I’m in the same situation as you, indian but residing in Oman..may I know if more about how you got your HQA? I’ll be directly going to the University’s Residing Area for Students, so will it be allowed to be home quarantined there? May I know your id for discord? So we can discuss more freely?

@ifrah_1 Hey Ifrah, wanted to know about the HQA you got. I have a flat there that is on rent, do they come and check the flat if its upto their standard, and what all details you need to put for in terms of address, and is a flat ok ? Does it matter if you travel from a certain country or something, like i am an Indian travelling from Oman

They don’t go to place to check the house. I don’t know if they might do visit later to check if the information we filled in while applying was correct or not. Thanks so much @ifrah_1, I do have a residence but i dont have it under my name, I will apply for it, but EMGS has been denying saying that they didnt get any update from MOH regarding students applying for HQA, But thanks for the clarification. Hope you have reached safely 🙂

Hi, Since you have also got permission for home quarantine I wanted to ask if you have paid for the on arrival PCR test or are we supposed to pay for it on the airport? And any idea how we will go to our quarantine place? Are they going to take us there or should we arrange for transportation by ourselves?

I got it within few hours. But max it takes 3 working days

I have tenancy agreement that has been expired in June 2021 but the apartment still belongs to me n i have rented out one of the room while i still have the master room having attach bathroom. I didn’t upload any such things, only passport vaccination certificate and travel authorisation letter. I just filled in the form for place’s address and about people and rooms in the house. Nothing else is required. The place where I would be staying is not under my name and they didn’t ask for it

I have a place of stay in Malaysia. Its on someone’s else name. Can I also apply for home quarantine?-
I am not a new student but they do not ask for the names and all. You just need to go to the portal and fill in the information it doesn’t matter who owns the place

Kindly guide the requirements for home quarantine. Like flat, independent home, university hostel solo room?

Go to MOH e portal all the information is there. But approval is subject to their assessment. My place of quarantine is currently empty and I would be only one in the house so I got it approved immediately

EMGS only ask for you passport no need to buy ticket for now. I just bought my ticket today after getting approval letter. You need to inform your university as well for travel plan so that they can immediately approve your application when EMGS contact them. I did that so my university gave approval in one day to EMGS toproceed with the application
