I am doing quarantine in an empty house, it is owned by a family friend and I will be alone there. You can still apply if you have a separate room and attached washroom

Apply for quarantine after getting your travel authorisation letter as you need to upload that

You can but your application approval is dependent upon the no of people in house, no of rooms with attached washroom, senior citizen children under 12 and pregnant women. You need to fill in the information on the portal along with passport, travel authorisation letter and vaccination certificate

Can you tell about the overall charges for home quarantine?
I haven’t payed for anything yet but will have to pay for on arrival PCR test I.e RM 250. Any other charges not sure I have emailed them to let me know if I have to pay the administrative charges or not. For hotel quarantine those are RM 2600 for non Malaysians but I am not sure if they are still applicable for home quarantine or not

I’m just wondering is home quarantine applicable for new students arriving Malaysia? or is it only for existing students with visa?
No I am an existing student, 4th semester. But I don’t think so it matters if you are a new or existing student for home quarantine.
I don’t know about that. I am an existing student. But the portal for home quarantine doesn’t ask whether you are new or old
