Congrats.. take your passport, 2 personal photos, VAL letter, offer letter and go to the Malaysian Embbasy.. they will give you stamped visa to enter Malaysia as Student

No.. only you can download from EMGS portal.. wait 2 to 3 days from VAL approval date.. dont go to Embassy till you download it.. and take your Offer later with you + 2 personal photo

Wait 3 or 2 days then your VAL letter will be ready to download.. then take it with your original passport, 2 photos, and Offer letter to Malaysian Embassy to get VDR visa

No.. 50% is not meaning.. that you VAL approved. You have to wait till VAL approved.. even embassy will not issue VDR without the VAL letter

If you applied through your inistitute and you submit all the required documents .. it will take from 2 to 3 weeks

Good luck.. tomorrow check your portal in your desktop or laptop.. you can download the VAL and then go to Malaysian Embassy with your passport copy and 2 photos .. also copy of your Offer letter.. to got the VDR visa

Always.. try to apply to VAL through your inistitute.. if you apply by yourself it is difficult to manage it.. the inistitute has special department expert in doing your val
