hi @anh what’s school u going? yaa same problem with me my status 15% and it’s pending with yellow bar. I worried too because in 3september we must be there. I not yet have accommodation they said we can search while registering at IPS, can i have your whatsapp?

Hy, your visa status now is the same as my visa status, it’s because the visa unit still doesn’t send your copy passport to the EMGS

I am not sure. I did send email to university where I am going to study. According to them, they are waiting for my Val letter to be issue and once I arrive at malaysia they will proceed with the passport matter.

Once you enter Malaysia with your SEV (if required) .. then your institution will get your medical test done and then submit your passport to EMGS

How many days did it take to get VAL-
A total of 20 days. However the later part of the process was quick (from 35 to 80 percent); it took 3 days.

Thank you very much. It’s been a week since i applied for VAL. Waiting for approval from university. what should i do?

Just wait and be patient. It’ll be done. If it takes longer time, write or call your university regarding the same.

Hello, I’m at UTM JB too!
The seniors tell me that medical checkup will be held at Sept 3rd so you should come to there two or three days before. It’s okay to come a week before but there’s no accomodation room provided by university (you should find a hotel). Probably we will get a dorm at sept 3rd too. Hope it helps!-
