Please note that there is no stipulated time frame for the VAL extension process as the approval will solely be at Immigration’s discretion.

Pending additional documents when I will be in year 2 by April. My val was approved december 2019 before. How come they need additional document for renewal of Val?

Not even us the new applicants are getting Vals
Its talking awfully long for all of us not just your val extension
We have already been waiting for one year and now we dont know how many more months have to wait to get extension while the new ones are getting theirs within one month.

Please note that all applications are processed accordingly. If documents are complete. applications will progress accordingly. However, if documents are incomplete, we will require additional documents from the institution. Furthermore, the approval will solely be at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

This is not ideal under normal conditions. You need to attend to expired eVals first before considering the new applications.
