How many days does it usually take for immigration department to complete the work when we submit the passport after arriving in Malaysia,after doing post arrival medical and everything. In short, how long does it take to reach from 90% to 100%?

Actually Currently,i am staying here as per SEV rules .i mean to say on the basis of SEV,by immigration department takes permission for one month stay,so, currently i am staying in that visa. And according to your statement,firstly i have to leave malaysia then my university will request to emgs to cancel the eVAL. And,before leaving the malaysia…[Read more]

  It took three working days to increase percentage rate 35 to 38. It’s 38% now.

Dear EMGS,
My application status is 20%.My orientation date is 29th of August and I have booked my ticket in advance on 28th August. After VAL I need 7 working days to get Visa as well and there will be one week holidays for Eid occasion. Any better suggestion for me please??

You should look for a backup you wont be able to get VAL in time because if you are at 20% it means it will take more time

    Brother, you should make a WhatsApp group for your uni. We made a WhatsApp group for USM and now have more than 18 members who are joining USM this year. You should do the same, will help you interact with your future uni mates.

Dear officer, my original birth certificate issued during time of birth is in Arabic and the same birth certificate also has all of my vaccination records which is in Arabic language as well. Dear officer, I applied for a single entry visa from the Malaysian embassy in Kuwait as a Bangladeshi citizen. Because I have a temporary residence permit (student visa). The Malaysian embassy accepted my application. But I want to know if there is any extra procedure due to this reason. Just wondering if I should inform emgs.

Since I’m a Bangladeshi citizen, it’s stated on my VAL that I should obtain it from the embassy in Bangladesh. But, I don’t live in Bangladesh, I live in Kuwait, in fact the last time I was in Bangladesh was more than an year ago.

Dear emgs officer, just wanted to say thanks for all the support so far. I got my VAL and I just visited the Malaysian embassy in Kuwait. Everything is going smoothly, looking forward to having a nice time in Malaysia. Thanks for all the help.
