My student pass is on progress by emgs now is at 85% , but my speciall pass expiry date is 26/10/18 , i register at utmi intenational student center at 2nd october .iafraid will be overstay , is there a penalty fee for this ? View

Hi Ferdi… if your country requires you to process SEV, then you cannot fly yet.
In my case, it took me 3 weeks for my application to get 80%.
Then another 3 days to process my SEV.

Yes there will be overstay charge per day RM 100.
Overstay is only charged in case of submitting the documents after the expiration date of your visa, in your case the process is ongoing and you might only be charged with one special pass fee which is RM 100.
