Hi EMGS
I was told by my institution that I can apply for a Val extension only after it is expired.. But iam worried that I might have to apply for a new Val once it is expired.
Please let me know whether it is okay to apply for a Val extension after it is expired? Or should I apply now? My Val expires on 21st of October 2021.

  Please note that if you are unable to enter Malaysia within the validity period. Your institution can apply for a VAL extension application once your VAL has expired. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
