I think it simply means that the office which deals with the documents scrutinization and provision of evisa have set up there office in Saudi Arabia. No matter from which you apply for it. For example my brother applied for Canadian visa online and his application was processed at the high commission office in Dubai.

You have to submit personal bond once you are in Malaysia. No need to worry. Just apply for your SEV

I am from India and already got eSEV. It is cheaper and faster comparatively. Here is what you should do. Sign up on windowmalaysia and select student sev. It will show you the series of eval eligible for eSEV. If you are eligible then go ahead and fill rest of it. If you are not then you will need to goto embassy.

@abhijeet1605 Yeah for me it will be around 150 rm since I will need around 60 GB atleast. You might need less so probably it will cost you around 80 to 100 rm i suppose.

Btw i checked your post and since you are also coming to USM, your eval series should be like me and u should be eligible for eSEV.

After you receive the eval then apply for SEV.

I have downloaded my eVAL. wanted to inquire can i apply online for it or is it mandatory to apply through embassy/consulate in the country

@emgsconnected i have got my visa approval letter and i downloaded my eVAL yesterday. At the time my eVal was available for download the tracker showed 75% green however today the tracker shows 80% and is yellow, asking for further documentation.
