I really shocked today, when I received my kids passport and they renew the visa for only 3 months. When I asked they said because their insurance will be expired in Feb. Dear EMGS,
I submitted my dependent documents for renew visa and having special pass from 6 Sep 2019.
Until now still the status asks institution to submit a valid Special pass.
The dependent pass was expired in 20 Sep 2019.
I asked my university several time, but still no change and it is 20% with yellow.

I submitted my dependent documents for having special pass and renew the visa from 6 September. But I don’t know how to check the status? Also the visa expired in 20th Sep.

Thank you for your reply. But my university gave me the very sold “NO”. They said it is impossible to apply.
What should I do?
What about if I go back home and renew my passport within one week. How can I return? With my old passport with visa, or as a Tourist visa for one month?

It means It is less than one year of my passport expiration.
Also in UM form for renew pass has written (Passport must valid at least 12 months).

I asked them, they said maybe still the special pass is not issued, that is why they cannot submit the passport until receive the special pass?!!

Dear all,
I submitted my family passports from 9th Feb to university visa office, but until now it is “Pending submission of your Passport for the issuance of your Dependant Pass.”
Does it mean, the university hasn’t submitted to EMGS?

Yesterday I received and email from my institution to pay for a special pass for my family. I am kindly asking you, do I need to pay special pass when my family dependent passes reached 45% and I submitted all documents and passports from 9th Feb. 2018? When their one month pass expired 23th Feb.

From 5 to 80 was 16 days, from 80 to 97 was 9 days

The problem is, if it change to 95% on Friday, we have to wait until Tuesday to receive it from our university.

I will to submit all my requirements Monday, I am in 80%, all letters are ready. They said EMGS beed 7 working days, and immigration no one know.

Two hours ago I received my VAL by email.
For now, the only what I scare is take my visa too long, because I only have two weeks permission from my current job.

I don’t need SEV, and my University received my Val from 20/10, I asked them they said we need time to process?!!
The problem is after all these time I have to wait in Malaysia for more than 2 weeks for visa again.

Thanks @aetisam In the university guide says I have to select collect from EMGS, but I chose send it to institute. Does it make a problem?

Thanks @m7md , that is very disappointing part. Waiting in that country for almost 1 month just for Visa. Because normally we should go back to bring our family. Do you think it is another way to be faster?
