Check that it is not to do with bond. This is paid electronically on the UM E-pay portal.
But you need to verify with UM Visa Unit since short payment is from UM side.

Not to worry. I filled it before arriving and it didn’t confirm. It doesn’t affect EMGS progress.

At my institute’s visa office they said once it reaches 100% it means passport is ready for collection. No needto wait for email. unless your institute has different arrangement.

If you are from a country that does not require single entry visa (SEV) proceed to organise travel. If you require SEV you must organise visa with nearest Embassy/ High Commission

If you have a smart phone, you can also do your MDAC at immigration at KLIA.
There was no EMGS personnel at their desk on arrival. But that is not a problem. Proceed to immigration at Counter #58/59.

You can buy your one way ticket to KL. Download the EVAL from status checker on the EMGS website. If you are from a country that requires a visa to enter Malaysia organise one immediately with Embassy or High commission in your country.

It progresses to 35% when your application is sent to immigration.
It can take up to 3 weeks to clear if all requirements met. Timeline is not certain.

Check through your Institution’s International Student Office or Student Visa Officers who should acknowledge and forward onto EMGS.
