Emgs gives a grace time for you to act on the application. In the case of prolonged nonactivity, it closed the application but you can still at that point liaise with your university to reopen it.

Same problem
-
3 working days for the process to resume.
-
okay & after the process resumes on average how long does it take to reach to the point where can i can obtain my visa on the passport from the embassy?
-
It should be around 1 month.
If at any stage, additional documents are required, add 5 working days. This is why some applicants find their visa dragging on for eternity.
