If you are referring to VAL Cancellation, there is no time frame. The cancellation is solely at the discretion of Immigration Department.
If your enquiry is regarding student pass cancellation, it takes approximately 5 working days for the cancellation process. However, the cancellation approval is soley under Immigration’s discretion. Kindly refer to your institution if you want to apply for VAL / Student pass cancellation. Please take note that the document varies for VAL and student pass cancellation. Thus, it is advisable if you liaise with your institution for further assistance. Thank you.

I am referring to student pass cancellation .what are the required docs?

Your institution is required to submit a student pass cancellation application to EMGS. Institution required to submit a cover letter and copy of your student pass for the cancellation process. Please be advised that it takes approximately 5 working days for cancellation, however the approval is solely at immigration’s discretion. Thank you.
