And your status should be “Val approved and ready to download”.it doesn’t take more than 3 days. If 3 days have been passed already , email your university and ask them.

He is not asking for rejection reason he want to know why immigration taking so long and I also really don’t know why it’s too late anyway it’s very annoying I called EMGS many times and they can’t do anything too so all we can do is wait and wait that’s it

I think EMGS Officer has explained everything very well. It means you need to Travel to Turkey and obtained your SEV from there or sent long term pass of Singapore to EMGS and ask for Amendment in your VAL.

Turkey is also exempted from SEV. So, You don’t need SEV.

Because I took my VAL 23 October.And in my VAL letter it’s writing”The applicant may proceed to any Malaysian Embassy / High Commission / Consulate of the country at TURKEY to obtain a
SINGLE ENTRY VISA for entry to Malaysia.”
So is it happened new?(exemption for Turkey) what should I do?-

Why you are Changing? for Egyptian people you dont need SEV for Malaysia. If your VAL is approved just fly to Malaysia.

Actually Egypt is only example. I’m from Turkey.

Just wait bro today i got my Val.now you have to wait until reach %70 and then you can download.If you cannot download with application try reach with your computer or another browsers(example.chrome ,opera)
Because i cannot download with application.I think and hope tomorrow you can download your VAL.Good luck…-

It’s at 50 % and my status: Your Visa Approval Letter(VAL) appeal has been submitted to immigration Department of Malaysia. Yeah even I felt the same and I’m worried.

It’s depend of the immigration actually.But firstly you have to go out Malaysia and your send your exit stamp with them.Your application will start again from %35 (progress with immigration) it’s will reach %38 in same day.
1th step is ok.

Hi Emir, thanks for replying me. I already exited malaysia on 6th/10/17 and my uni appealed for VAL on 9/10/17 and there isn’t any progress from immigration. Do u have any idea how long is it gonna take?

Someone in this Forum told somedays ago you can get from Other country.
I have read somewhere you can get it from a country where you have a proof of long term resident of that country. Better to call Malaysian Embassy of that Country.
