It may differ from one country to another. In my case, I phoned the Malaysian embassy in my country and asked them about the required documents. Three years ago, they asked for the offer letter and the Val. A month ago (renewal) they asked for travel authorisation because my student pass had expired. Some countries can apply online. @bode_1 yes I’ve got it within hours after applying.
It’s easy just upload passport, Travel authorisation letter and vaccination certificate and mention the address and details like no. Of people residing there and your flight details.
