Dear EMGS Officer,
My application for student pass renewal is in process with EMGS. My passport (#AB6888951) has been stuck at 80% from the 5 February. It has completed its 14 working days with immigration department today. I have to essentially travel on 28th February and have already booked my ticket. Usually up to 14 working days.

Hi Bint,
The process will normally take approximately 14 working days. However, kindly be advised that the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

From 85% my passport was submitted to immigration department for approval of student pass then I move to 90% within two working days. Normally they will tell you it’s 7 working days from the day your passport is received.

Your passport was submitted to the Immigration Department on the 05th of February 2020. The process will normally take approximately 14 working days. Therefore, the process is still within the stipulated time frame.
