Please be informed that students from visa-required countries are required to proceed to the Malaysian Embassy and apply for a Social Visa. Upon issuance of the Social Visa, you need to apply for the travel authorization via the EMGS website: https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/. However, if you are from a non-visa required country you can proceed to apply for the travel authorization after purchasing your flight ticket.

Kindly note that you will be required to enter Malaysia on a Social Visit Pass and subsequently submit your passport for the extension of your Student Pass. The approval to grant you entry is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department Officials at the point of entry.
