Firstly, why did they reject your renewal? Is it because of attendance or grades?

Its a very randomised process. My advice for you and anyone whose papers have been submitted to immigration is to call EMGS every alternative day and ask them to check your papers eg . Expiry of offer letter etc and confirm everything is in order. Biggest lesson is dont let your guard down as anything can happen 🤣

They can stop you from enrolling for classes and from registering or even barring your results but they are not allowed to hold on to your passport. Which uni is this btw? You should file a complaint to the police and your embassy. Your passport is essentially the property of your country

Yes it’s definitely easier and you dont have to leave the country 😅. You just compile the paperwork needed and keep your attendance 80% for all classes then your university handles the rest

Noo i dont think so. You’ll just have to renew your student visa every year as per usual.

Theyll refund you for the extra payment you made for that once you go to Malaysia

By the way, did you get the EMGS approval letter? If you did and still got rejected, its EMGS’ fault because they prepared your documents handover to immigration, making sure everything is right

I think if you defer to next semester you should have a lot of time to apply. However, did you call EMGS and ask why theres a delay? Is it with immigration yet or not?

If you have a month remaining on your diploma visa after finishing your diploma, then you can apply for a transition visa for which you wont have to leave the country. Talk to your institution

So sorry to hear that. If its with EMGS its better to call them daily for an update. You can ask UM staff to keep highlighting your case to EMGS as well

If you are having visa issues while in UM you should directly approach the visa unit counter in exam hall with inquiry

Still dont understand the order theyre processing 😶 i also already did my BSc i Malaysia. Applying for my MSc visa and submitted to Immigration on 18th but still havent got it
