Hello EMGS, I am currently outside Malaysia and my visa is nearing to the expiry date. I still need to get my final graduation results from my institute and the personal deposit. What happens to them if my visa expires ? Can I go on social pass to get them ?

It can be used only in case of emergency cases or when you are hospitalized and not for the clinic visits. They give you some member id card along with it. Before buying that contact your university if they have a cheaper option.

I don’t know the process for your institution but most probably you need to ask the visa office in your university. Also if you don’t get student pass within 2-3 weeks they charge you around RM 150 for a special pass.

It will get 100 percent once you receive your student pass. To recieve student pass, post arrival medical check-up is required along with your other documents so I think 75 percent indicates that. Incase you have any doubt , you should just ask your university international office, they will be much more help to you.

I don’t know if Bangladesh process for sev is same as India . I got my sev within 2 days but I had applied it online rather than submitting my passport.

It means your val should be available to download. Once you download it you, when you come to Malaysia your university will help you to finish your student pass application and it will be 100 percent.

Single entry visa takes about 10 days officially although it’s never up to that except there is/are public holiday(s). How much you will put in your account is dependent on your circumstances, whether you are on scholarship or a self sponsored student. That’s true, you will apply for your sev with the offer letter downloaded online, you will only get the original offer letter when you complete your registration in Malaysia

I didn’t apply for NDLEA clearance. What degree are you coming for because that will determine whether you need NDLEA clearance or not. The SEV experience is fine, no , just make sure you have all your documents

You have to get to Malaysia first, apply for your student before you can apply for dependant pass for your spouse or relative

Make a folder of all the documents Mariam said. And if you are from public university then you can walk out without any representative. If you are from public university they will ask you to show offer letter too along with val. So keep all the documents handy.

Incase of rejection, you have to provide the letter from a specialist that you are healthy and can stay in another country. There is time limit of 3 or 5 working days if I am not wrong. You need to provide that letter where you did your medical test.

Why not check the Malaysian high commission website. Everything is well stated there. Your sev is valid for 3 months from date of issue and in your case March 14

Syrians don’t need an entry visa to enter Malaysia, you will get your visa on arrival, so go ahead and book your flight…Best of luck

I know what student pass is, you don’t need it at the airport, the 3 items I mentioned earlier are what you need at the entry point. Peace

I don’t understand what you mean by ‘forming student pass’. Basically you need your eval, offer letter and sev at the point of entry. Those 3 documents are essential and nothing else

If your institution is a public institution then you can do your medicals in Malaysia but if it’s a private institution you have to do it in your home country
