Good morning. I would like to enquire about the PR ( permenant residence ) i have been told that one of the way to get it is by staying in Malaysia for over 5 years. Which i have done, i have been here for almost 7 years. Can any one whos knows about this help through the procedure needs to be done ? Thanks View

Hello. This forum is espescially for international students in malaysia. For expat or PR questions u can directly go to immigration website. Here is just for emgs handling student applications only and not PR. Hope that helps.

Not to dishearten you, but I actually know people who’ve been living in Malaysia for almost 20 years and still haven’t been given PR. According to the policies, yes, it does say 5 years.
