To check the status go to the Emgs through their website not their app , then go to track my application enter ur details and choose TA.
Reminder: Dont book any flight tickets until the TA gets approved cuz it takes time

My TA status is on yellow color and it said “Please note that the institution is required to approve your application in order for us to process your application” should I contact to the university?

Check with your university to see why your passport has not yet reached emgs.

After you arrive to Malaysia hand over your passport to the university. Pay the fees.
Important: Double check with your university upon arrival on the fees. You will need to pay renewal fees for every year renewed and insurance fees for every year as well. Example: If your visa expired on January 1, 2021 you will have to pay fees for 2021 and 2022.
