@tinashem Hi,

Is it very necessary to have your university representative present at the time I reach immigration point in Malaysia or is it ok if they don’t come?

Hi! Can anyone tell me if original VAL is required to travel to Malaysia or coloured copy would work?

Plus evisa would be ok for me to travel?

  The university would’ve emailed you stating that they couriered the original VAL. You need that original VAL upon entering Malaysian immigration so they can give you a special pass. You also need to apply for a single entry visa depending on what country passport you are. Again the university would email you upon your VAL has been approved by EMGS

    But if your visa was approved after October 15, then you might be getting eVAL instead which would means they won’t courier it to you anymore
