Admitted student with outdated VAL because of lockdown, how can he get updated copy of VAL? Can apply for his entry visa with hte same VAL? Would the Malasian Consulate accept it? View

Your institution can submit the VAL extension application to extend the validity of your VAL. Kindly liaise with your institution for further assistance.

The answer is “Solely at immigration’s discretion”.
But the immigration does not work properly for eval extension till now.
