Hello my brother..i think you need to travel directly to malysia..there is no embassy in iraq

If any one doesn’t have malaysai embassy in their country u need original signed Val on hand, u can directly fly to Malaysia. But bear in mind that from country u direct fly like India or Dubai u should put that country visa on ur passport. When u arrived to Malaysia they will issue u visa. Tnx

Thanks brother. Once the Visa Unit said that there is no embassy in my country. However, they emailed me asking about embassy’s address and saying that I need to obtain SEV from there.

Whether there is an embassy in iraq or not am not sure. But if there is none in your country you can obtain one at the airport

If I may ask another question pls: in my app. hostory, a section says ‘pending payment by the institution- pending the submission for my VAL’ what does that mean? I have already paid for my VAL.

Inform the university that there is no malaysia embassy in iraq, ask them what can u do
Ask them to send you a scan copy by email, as you’ll need it in airport. When applying what did you put in the obtain SEV from column?
they have already emailed my VAL. Exaclty Ahmed, I think this is the problem, there was only one option’ Iraq, Baghdad’ and I chose it (didn’t know what else to do). I emailed them now and aksed them to courier my VAL to Iraqi embassy in Malaysia. I hope it is possible. Thanks

You don’t need original copy, ask them to keep it until you arrive and just print the one they sent you. Your main issue now is where are you going to get SEV from probably.
