You can ask for speeding your visa process by sending email to EMGS explaining your circumstances and providing evident like ticket or a letter from your organization stating that you have to be in your country in certain date for work commitments

It is better you try while you are here. Otherwise you will have to come again or your VAL will expire.
Sometimes, they speed the process in two weeks but sometime you don’t know what’s happening it took months.

I have a question.
My visa expired on the 20th of January. I am planning to come to Malaysia on th 14th of April to submit my passport for renewal.
Is there any issue when I enter the country!??
Are they going to process the visa normally or I have to get special pass first as my visa expired. !??
Please advice

No point to come in April as the university won’t renew your visa as it is expired already. You should have applied for renewal before it gets expired. Now you will need to contact your university and apply for new VAL and wait until it approved by immigration.

Are you writing it wrong or you really mean what you said? If thevisa expired in January why are you even asking in March let alone to come in April?

Can u elaborate more? What do u mean sending passport with your friend? Think renewal has to go through institution.
