From my experience… if you want to download the file… go to the emgs website… click on the “track my application”… and then they will provide you the link to download the file… I didnt wait for 1 to 3 days… once I saw my val has been approved I directly to the steps that I have told you before…

The process of getting a VAL will take InshaAllah around 14 working days (if there is no issue in your documents)

Student Pass will also take around 14 working days after you have submitted your passport to your institution

I agree with @sheikhibrahimbulala. But once you enter Malaysia, you need to give your passport to your respective institution within a week. If you fail to do so, you need to make a new visa.

One week is strictly restricted or its suggested.. medical check up at Malaysia Should be done within the first week of arrival?
