I think you can’t do that because there will be a determined date for registration, and also it depends on university system.

How long it took you to get the VAL?

It ll be better ask when is ur orientation program. few universities pick up their student earlier than semester starts. It depends on them. Normally if registration is 10 September,,, then orientation is last week of the August.

Yes I did it before, also my brother and relations, upon arrival don’t go to counter directly but you should go to emigration department to get student one entry on arrival, but this for some nationalities not for all. You have to ensure first

I had the same situation when I came here I didn’t get the single entry from any embassy they stamped my passport with the single at kl airport when I showed them the VAL letter
