a friend of mine brought her positive test results as well as negative PCR for them to check. All she did was a rapid test at the airport and didn’t need quarantine

if you’re vaccinated and have gotten covid, u don’t need to quarantine as long as u recovered 11 days ago

i don’t think you’re allowed to leave the airport unless your layover is more than 24 hours. even then you definitely need to check with the relevant authorities since you need to quarantine regardless of whether you have a connecting flight since you want to exit the airport

Hi Jamilu, as long as you have a signed rental contract, i think you’ll get approved but it also depends on the risk of transmission.
If you’re the only one staying at the condo then there’s no risk of transmission but if there’s someone already living and you’re splitting the rent and bills with them then you need to mention that in the home…[Read more]

I applied on 4th january and got approved on 11th january
It costs nothing since you already have a signed rental contract with the owner

if it expired after february 2020, ask your university to apply for a renewal with the new passport number. once you’ve done that, apply for travel authorization which will take approximately 15-20 working days

universities were allowed to before the pandemic. i’m not sure if it is allowed now but my university has said they cannot do so. it’s best to contact your university for this as they can better guide you

no you don’t. as long as your student visa is still valid, all you need is negative pcr test, quarantine documents and book a pcr on mysafetravel or pay for pcr on arrival

you can opt for home quarantine but need to apply at least 10 days before your flight.
They require your flight details, vaccine certificate, travel authorization as well as your rental contract.
Make sure you have a valid address at time of applying.

As far as I know, if you have a valid student visa, you don’t need to apply for travel authorization.
All you need is your passport, vaccination certificate with QR code, PCR test not more than 48 hours ago, Hotel quarantine receipt or home quarantine approval

it was under my name. included the entire terms, name of the owner, his bank details, mobile number as well as my name, passport number and signature
plus the monthly rental, deposits etc

Hi, you can apply for home quarantine if you have a valid residence, meaning a rented apartment or address.
They require information such as the number of persons staying, number of bathroom, number of persons with high risk in the house to evaluate the risk of transmission within the household.

Hi Annur, congratulations on your VAL. Now you have to take your VAL as well as a valid passport to the Malaysian embassy or consulate in your country and apply for a single entry visa

i have seen posts where people said u can pay for the covid test on arrival if you want to but they accept only ringgit malaysia

i’m pretty sure u cannot book directly through a hotel
there’s a lot of requirements that a hotel needs to fulfill to allow travelers to quarantine
that’s why MOH has selected a list of hotels only
