Anyone there who applied University with a passport and Had to get new passport before EMGS application so passport number got changed? Applied at EMGS with old passport number and, in attachment gave both new and old passport. In the new passport, old passport number is written. Should there be any problem?

Same happened to me. My old pass was out of date so i got a new so fast and submitted it to the EMGS as they asked me to do

Idk about ur last Q, but in average it takes 10-15 days. Don’t buy the ticket, ik people who missed their flight cuz they were hasty
Like after i get my eval, Do i apply for my SEV directly?
After getting yout eVal, you should apply SEV via online by eVisa or go to the nearest Embassy of Malaysia in your area. I think you can book your flight once you have eVal. It doesn’t take long to obtain SEV if you do in online via eVisa. Only 2 working days.
Don’t buy a ticket without getting your eVAL. Once you get it, you can book as SEV will take only few days.
