Hello, I am Noraiz from Pakistan. I am also going to Univ of Malaya for Doctor of Philosophy.( Internationsl Relations), my VAL is also pending since 12th Feb ,2018. Even my student record not yet created.Still waiting.
When did u apply, cause it took me 12-14 days to get val
I applied on 12th Feb. But not yet student record has been created….still waiting
Maybe it’s due to long weekend. Things progress slow here. So, may be try calling them by phone tomorrow
Hello, I am going to UM as well. My application has been at the immigration stage since feb 6th and now they say it’s on hold because they need some documents from EMGS.
Okay, like did they specify what type of documents needed?
no that’s the problem, I have no information at all, I contacted my institution and they told me it’s in progress with Emgs and im not able to reach emgs by phone since this morning.
Since, it was a long weekend holiday due to Chinese New year things will progress really slow. May be u can get some notification by Wednesday
