@Emran: its a very confusing problem to us..Md. vs Mohammad though its same but many people especially the immigration creates problem.. changing name of all the certificates are very challenging rather changing the name of passport..
Myself always in tension regarding this same issue… Passport office is liable for that, bcoz they suggested to use Mohammad instead of Md.now we r facing problem for their overwhelming…

Don’t listen to this fool an affidavit simply solves the name difference problem, I provide one every time I apply for VISA and I don’t get a problem.
