Brother as your application is new i think you should communicate with the IO office of your college. They are dealing with this stuffs for a very long time so they know what to do. If you have opportunity for appeal then you can submit the appeal through college. In normal case it will take around 2 weeks. to start the process again after the submission of appeal letter. Be patient it will be ok soon.
