Respected Sir/Madam,

I had applied for EVAL two weeks ago. While applying for EVAL, I had filled 3-years in the category box “Extended student pass (Duration Of student pass sought)” of the EVAL Application Form. I made the extra fee payment in Malaysian ringgit for the students pass (3-years).

Now, when I downloaded the Eval, the student pass duration mentioned there is of 2 years only. May I know why it is so? I had applied for 3-years duration and made extra payment? Is there any mistake by the issuing authority? Please clarify.

  We understand your concern. However, the decision to issue a visa duration is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. With regard to the unutilized fee or applicable refund for the additional payment made, kindly send an email to enquiry(at)emgs.com.my in order to check on this. Please provide your full name and Passport number in the email to enable an EMGS Officer to assist you further.
