Dear Sir/Madam,

I am seeking your assistance for my student pass application. I am a returning international student who was previously on intermission for one semester. I had to cancel my visa and exit Malaysia according to the proper procedures. I had to re apply for a new student pass since this is the requirement after intermission and cancellation. I went through a Non direct application whereby my university was in charge of the process. I have received my eVAL but I noticed that I waa given a student visa duration of one-year even though I have only a final semester of 6 months left to complete my course. I want to confirm whether the procedure is like this for all students as I was told, if only a one-year student visa is given even if I have only 6 months to reside in Malaysia and again, cancel my visa when I complete my course at the end of this year. Please, I require your urgent attention on this matter since I am also being charged for a one-year student visa. Thank you.
