Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am a Russian citizen and was previously studying in Malaysia under a student visa. I am currently staying legally in Indonesia and plan to return to Malaysia briefly to cancel my student visa.

I would like to ask: after I cancel my Malaysian student visa, will I be allowed to travel directly to another country (such as Indonesia), or will I be required to return to Russia?

Your clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  Please be informed that once you have completed your studies and canceled your student visa, you will need to return to your home country. Staying in another country is only permitted if you obtain the necessary approval to remain.
