Just some friendly advise from experience for future applicants. Once you get your offer letter from your uni be sure to apply as soon as possible and have funds ready to pay. Give yourself at least 3 months before you plan to fly in to start the process as there could be delays and to give yourself sufficient time to organise and confirm travel.
Once you get to Malaysia you may not be greeted by EMGS staff. Just do the online arrival card at immigration at Terminal 1 KLIA before proceeding to counters for international student with your eVal.
Get acquainted with your uni and organise medical. Choose a medical centre with xray machine saves time but the staff may help to organise a clinic- be prepared to pay taxi to get to other clinic. Once your medical is cleared go to your institute Visa Office and submit valid passport to organise Student Pass. Then this might be another wait too.
