Dear Officer,
I hope this message reaches you in good health.
My name is Wang Xuemei, a newly admitted student at the University of Malaya. My EMGS application details are as follows:
– **Application No.:** E#########
– **Passport No.:** EJ6234145
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the status of my EMGS application, which has remained at 35% (Green) since August 22, 2024. Despite the standard 7–10 day update window, it has now been over 28 days with no progress.
A classmate whose application was at the same 35% as of August 28 has already seen their status reach 70% by September 13. This discrepancy in processing time is particularly alarming for me, as I am now facing urgent time constraints.
I have a flight to Malaysia booked and my course registration at the University of Malaya is scheduled to begin on **September 30** at 8:30 a.m. To complete my registration, I must receive the necessary documents and upload them to the MAYA system before this date. Failure to do so will result in deferring my enrollment for an entire year, as my program starts only once a year in October.
Given the severe consequences of any further delays, I urgently request that my EMGS application progress to 70% at the earliest possible time. This will enable me to secure the required documents, apply for an eVisa, and enter Malaysia before my course begins.
Your immediate attention and assistance in expediting this matter are critically important, and I kindly ask for a prompt update on my application status.
Thank you for your time and urgent attention.
Best regards,
Wang Xuemei
