Hi, I am also joining utm jb this semester as an undergrad student and yes, you can register online only with the emgs approval letter like I did but upon arrival you need to show the eVal. Also note that you can only travel Malaysia when you receive the eVal.

No, haven’t received my eVal yet. Will you be joining faculty foundation first? If yes, then you should register for the Bridging program once you register with the university. Then you’ll be able to find all the contact details of your classmates and lecturers. You’ll also find my whatsapp number in the computing students section.
How long have you been waiting your eVAL?
And, no, I’m not going to join the faculty foundation so I suppose I’ll contact you once I’ve completed my registration.
I had passport renewal issue so I have been waiting for almost 2 months now. By the way, where are you from? I guess it’s different for you, so you didn’t have any pre requisite on the offer letter? Perhaps you have an internationally recognized high school degree that’s why you’ll directly join the faculty.
Oh, I had been waiting for nearly a month as well! I had to cancel my old eVAL so it was taking some time. I’m from Myanmar. How about you?
Yes, I have no prerequisites; maybe it’s because I spent one year at a private university in Malaysia before transferring to a public university, and they didn’t see any problems, so yay?

I forgot to ask, but will you be able to attend online classes while you wait for your eVAL?
I guess they’re not providing any online classes for the current semester.

Hello, I’m also enrolling into utm jb for this session,had a few issues regarding val delays, but I got my emgs approval letter, and I’ve been trying to register with that. I emailed admin and a few faculty, to advise on how to proceed, but still have not heard back yet. How did you register using the emgs approv letter?
