I am Asher Ahmed Malik from Pakistan (passport no EM0768921). I have completed my Masters by research in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Petronas on 28 April 2022 (final university senate approval)
After the clearance process, I have applied for PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same institute (Universiti Teknologi Petronas) and after interview selection, I have received the official offer letter on 22 August 2022.
I am therefore applying for progression visa. My existing multiple entry student visa is valid till 28 September 2022.
Since, I am left with one month of visa duration, kindly suggest if I can stay in Malaysia to proceed with visa progression to PhD without leaving Malaysia.
