Second, I think the reason for the 100% yellow is because u still didn’t submit ur passport, Just a guess
But u need to contact ur university as soon as possible they will be able to help u/
The university is fully aware of it and it is yellow because of the medical checkup and insurance both are pending as they are to be done once I am in Malaysia. That is not the poing here. My concern is that the process of renewal of VAL is taking too much time. I had applied for the renewal back in November 2021, but there has been no progress till now, 4 months later. My request is to speed up the process. 4 months is a very long time. Why do they process things so slowly?
I have tried to contact them multiple times. I have called several times at different times of the day but nobody picks up the phone and no replies to my emails as well. At the start of Feb I was told that because there was a change of place of departure (from Riyadh, KSA to New Delhi, India), it was taking time. But now another month has passed already and there hasn’t been much progress. What should I do? Please help

That is indeed very long. Do contact EMGS again and tell them you’ve been waiting for 4 months.

I dont think their hotline works. You can only contact them through the EMGS email. ######### < try to email here too
