As far as I know, the only way so far to get a social pass is through the Lingkawi Tourist Bubble. No social passes other than this are offered. Still, if your husband comes to Malaysia though this scheme, there is yet the question of whether or not you can apply for a dependent visa for him and for your daughter. We are all looking in anticipation of hopeful changes that may ease the process and allow students to be reunited with their dependents. We hope so. In the meantime, your only source will be the immigration department, so give them a call and explain your critical situation to them. Hope there can be a way.
I have the same question … kindly guide
I am also needing answers to this question. Similarly, I have been offered a PhD place in Malaysia and am wondering if I may travel there with my wife
You should ask with your university,
Lucas: In order to apply for a dependent visa, the first requirement is that you travel to Malaysia and get the student pass.

Many of us have same question but finding no solution.
We hope social passes will be granted at least to dependents of students. Our prayers for students to be reunited with their families.
