Hi guys. So I tested positive for Covid and there’s a chance my PCR doesn’t test negative by the time I need to fly so I emailed MOH about my situation and CPRC replied to me with this link.
https://covid-19.moh.gov.my/garis-panduan/gp-umum-covid19/prosedur-kemasukan-ke-malaysia-bagi-pengembara-yang-pernah-dijangkiti-covid-19
There’s an English infographic attached that you can read.
This seems to imply fully vaccinated and people infected within 11-60 days do not have to quarantine anymore starting from 13th January, however even my college counsellor is not aware of this information. It seems unlikely that MOH gave me the wrong guidelines and I very clearly specified I was an international student in my home country.
This is the CPRC mail for anyone who’s interested.

Please let me know if anyone who arrived post 13th jan has had to quarantine.
There has been recently some talk about it in the news

In your case, covid swab is not required according to the news you shared with us.. They need RTK antigen test two days before departure. And thank you so much for sharing this important news as we all here wish you full recovery.
Thank you I am doing much better! Will hopefully be flying at the end of this month but the changing guidelines are a bit stressful 😅
Cannot agree more 🙂 Be safe.
