Hello all,

I have a question regarding quarantine. Can i book directly through the hotel instead of safetravel as i heard it’s cheaper this way!

Also when i arrive at the airport am I supposed to take a grab car to the hotel or is their another allocated cars to drive arrivals to their quarantine destination. Thank you.

  Yes, you can book directly with the hotel as long as it is designated by authorities as a quaranitne hotel. Still you have to register with safe travel and submit proof of hotel booking. YOU CANNOT book any hotel you want.
  
  As for your second question: Your hotel booking must include transportation. The authorities at the airport will call the hotel to arrange for a vehicle to collect you. The cab driver will be in protective suit, so I do not think that you are allowed to take any taxi on your own. Case different for home quarantine students.
