As far as I know, if you have a valid student visa, you don’t need to apply for travel authorization.
All you need is your passport, vaccination certificate with QR code, PCR test not more than 48 hours ago, Hotel quarantine receipt or home quarantine approval

Correct. If you have a valid student pass, you need just to book for quarantine and travel to Malaysia with a negative covid test and vaccination certificate on the mysejehtera application. That’s it.
My friend got rejected for JED airport. he has a valid student pass, home quarantine paper , and pcr test. But got rejected because the said we need MyEntry or MyPass. I went to the consulate they said we don’t need it if valid student pass
