Ask your university to apply for you via my travel pass website, or it possible to apply by yourself,
When you go to my travel pass website click on Higher education institution (dependent)
Then read all the instructions
It usually takes one week, maximum takes two weeks

How, do you know what documents ai need for a new spouse visa?? Do I need a bank statement? As currently I don’t even have Malaysian bank account 🤔
My travel pass is a permit to enter Malaysia, it is not visa, once your family arrive to Malaysia then you apply visa for them.
But there are some countries should get the visa and single entry from Malaysia embassy after you apply and get my travel pass.
If you are from these countries you should have bank statement to as one of the documents to applying visa.
If you only apply for my travel pass no need to have bank statements, but after they arrived to Malaysia you should apply visa for your dependent and at that time you have show your bank statement.
