Hi colleagues,

Can an international student with expired pass enter Malaysia for only 2-3 months without applying for the renewal of student pass?!

  No. Immigration will not allow to enter on expired pass.

  Please note that you are required to have a valid student visa to stay in Malaysia as a student

  Hi Ahmed. Before the covid, we were allowed to enter Malaysia with an expired visa within three months after expiry. Now I don’t know. At any rate, it is highly recommended that you apply for renewal at your home country before making the travel.
  
  What I did was to get travel authorisation and apply for renewal. I got the SEV and booked my flight after the progress on renewal reached 90%.
