Hello Officer,
I am an international student from Bangladesh. Passport no: BY0438952. I firstly received my VAL on 31 March 2021 but I couldn’t travel to Malaysia because of the covid-19 lockdown in my country and the Malaysian Embassy in Bangladesh wasn’t processing any visas when I was willing to travel. Now my VAL got expired. I applied for an extension and the Application is in progress with the immigration. The status shows 60%.

When will I receive my extended VAL I need to enter Malaysia within December as I want to attend my classes from January on Campus in person.

Please look into this matter.

  Kindly note that there is no stipulated timeframe for VAL extension processing. The approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department. Any update regarding your application will be notified to institution.
