Hello,
I applied for my VAL extension in February 2021(I’m a may 2020 intake student). Ever since that all my juniors whom I know (September 2020 intake students) got their VAL extended within weeks. Whenever I raised any concern against this issue the replies were always the same that “it’s up to the immigration department” and I understand that but this doesn’t really seem fair to a particular extend. For a while Indian passport holders weren’t allowed to enter Malaysia but recently I saw the new SOP my uni posted where it’s stated that Indian students may enter Malaysia under the requirement of 21 days long quarantine. Now may I know what is holding my application back ? Am I missing any particular documents? If so, please do let me know so I can arrange it accordingly.

  Please note that India is on the list of banned countries. Hence, you can proceed to re-apply once the travel ban is lifted.

  If you originated from banned country therefore your application will be put on hold
