    • Apply Travel Authorization

    • Please be informed that all international students that intend to enter Malaysia must submit their application to EMGS through the Travel Authorisation form available on the EMGS website. Kindly refer below for the steps to submit your application through the Travel Authorisation form:

      1) Students are first required to register an account at https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my

      2) Once an account is registered, the student may proceed to request the travel authorization via the same website. Please ensure that you read the ‘Travel Advice thoroughly before clicking ‘Apply’

      3) Students are then required to enter the passport number and nationality. The student’s details such as the full name, institution name, course name, and application ID will be auto-populated if the student fulfills the requirement

      4) Select the country of origin, and port of entry. Fill-in the flight details (flight number, departure and arrival date and time) before uploading the flight ticket in PDF format

      All applications created by students will be made available to educational institutions. The applications must be approved by the institution before EMGS begins processing the application. Once the processing is completed, the application will be submitted to the Immigration Department to obtain the approval of the Director-General of the Malaysian Immigration Department. Upon approval, students will be able to download an approval letter through the application tracker on the EMGS website.
