Good day to all
I’m an Indian passport holder.
I’m traveling to Malaysia 22nd may 2021 as a new student.
I’m living and working in Oman currently with no travel history to India in the past 2 years. I’ve received my SEV 2 days back and the Malaysian embassy in Oman has also confirmed me I can travel to Malaysia. The ban is only for flights coming from India.
Can someone please clarify me on this issue ?
Has anyone with similar situation travelled recently ?

  Hi,
  
  We understand that you will be travelling from Oman. However, the travel ban includes student’s nationality as well. Hence, you will not be able to enter Malaysia until the travel ban is lifted. We will keep institutions and students updated on this matter.
